The challenge
Why this matters
Many rural communities in Layyah and Bhakkar have no organised platform to identify needs, pool savings or negotiate with government and donors. Individual families cannot do this alone.
What GDO does
- Forming and strengthening Community Organisations, Women Saving Groups and Village Forums
- Training members in community management and leadership
- Running regular group meetings where members plan, save and decide together
- Linking organised groups to government departments, donors and the private sector
- Prioritising participation so every project is owned by the community it serves

- Women Saving Groups (WSGs)
